Tales of World Travel

“We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.” – Jawaharial Nehru

It is rare that one has the opportunity to travel the world. The chance to wander our vast planet and observe what it and its people have to offer was something I could not pass up. As one of the lucky students of Semester at Sea, I shall spend the next three and a half months circumnavigating the globe. From Hong Kong to Saigon to Salvador, the ports are diverse and widespread. Join me and my wanderlust as we explore the world!

delay

the rest of my China blogs are just going to have to wait until the long stretch between Vietnam and India. I need to spend my time reading up on VietNam as much as I possibly can before arriving! The more I know, the better my trip will be. Luckily, I took lots of notes since I was on my own. I had a lot of time with no one to talk to so I just wrote. Luckily, that should make it easy to recall stuff later on.

The important thing is that I managed to successfully get myself to Hong Kong
